Scheduling and alerts
Scheduled incremental audits, comparisons, alerts and email digests.
Scheduled audits
Set a site's schedule to daily or weekly in its Settings tab. Scheduled audits are incremental: unchanged pages are revalidated instead of downloaded again, so they are fast and light on your server.
- Quiet hours (UTC) stop scheduled audits from starting at times you choose.
- Max concurrent scheduled audits (default 2) limits how many of your sites crawl at once.
Both are in Settings → Alerts → Scheduling. Manual audits ignore them.
Comparing audits
The site's Compare tab diffs any two audits: score change, new, resolved and regressed issues. Each audit page also shows what changed since the previous audit.
Alerts and email
Alerts appear under Alerts in the sidebar and in email. Configure them in Settings → Alerts (owners only).
| Alert | When | Default |
|---|---|---|
| New issue | At or above a minimum severity | High |
| Regression | A resolved issue comes back, at any severity | On |
| Search Console click drop | Pages losing clicks week over week | On |
| Ranking drop | A tracked keyword's 7-day average position worsens by N places | 5 places |
- Email: off, a daily digest at an hour you choose (default 08:00 UTC), or immediately.
- Monthly report email on the 1st, with links to each site's [client report](/docs/organizations#reports).
Alert and digest emails go to organization owners.
